Nationality
You must be:

  1. An Indian citizen, OR
  2. A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, OR

Important Points

Edit Window

  • After the application deadline, candidates get 2 or 3 days to correct or update their submitted online application.
  • Only those who submitted their application and paid fees on time can use this edit window.
  • Candidates can make corrections and resubmit the application only once during this period.
  • Some details cannot be changed: Name, Email, Mobile Number, State/UT (in vacancy and addresses), Post, and Nationality.
  • Category changes are allowed in certain ways, but if you change from general category to reserved (SC/ST/PwBD), the fee already paid won’t be refunded.
  • Candidates need to pay Rs. 200 to make any corrections. (non-refundable)
  • Only the latest corrected application, after paying the fee, will be considered valid.
  • If a candidate submitted multiple applications, only the latest one should be edited.

General Instructions

  • Candidates must bring their call letter, a photo ID copy and original (with the same name as the application) for both Preliminary and Main exams.
  • At the Preliminary exam, call letters and ID copies won’t be collected but will be checked and returned. Candidates must bring these authenticated documents to the Main exam along with other required papers. Scribe forms (if needed) must be submitted at both exams.
  • Without the authenticated call letter and photo ID from the Preliminary exam, candidates will not be allowed to enter the Main exam.
  • Candidates must bring one extra photo (same as on call letter) along with the call letter. Without photos, candidates cannot sit for the exam.
  • Candidates banned from exams by IBPS must follow the ban rules.
  • Receiving a call letter or provisional allotment does not mean you are finally selected. IBPS or banks can reject any candidate anytime if they don’t meet criteria or provide false info. No appeals will be accepted.
  • IBPS and the banks involved make the final decisions about who is eligible, check the documents, and handle everything related to the exam. They will not respond to personal queries or accept documents sent separately.
  • The scribe (helper) should NOT be a candidate in this exam. If anything different is found, both the candidate and the scribe will be disqualified. If this rule is broken, both the candidate and the scribe will be disqualified.
  • A scribe can assist only one candidate. Violations will lead to disqualification.
  • Submit only one application. Multiple applications mean only the latest one is valid, and fees for others will be lost.
  • If you take the exam more than once, your application will be rejected and canceled.
  • Application fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred.
  • Any disputes related to the exam will be handled only by courts in Mumbai.
  • Candidates must choose the state for provisional allotment carefully. This choice cannot be changed later.
  • Any form of unfair influence or lobbying will lead to disqualification.
